So, last year there was a lot of buzz around the book/film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. A decent read if you haven’t picked it up. The film had some good acting, particularly from Noomi Rapace – the actress who played the main character Lisbeth Salander, but the film itself was kind of dry. Last year, hot off the critical success of The Social Network, David Fincher was tapped to direct an adaptation of the same novel. To me, this was gold. In my opinion, Fincher is ideal for this sort of material, and the book is full of it – suspense, mystery, and a seriously deranged killer. And add to that the 2nd collaboration with Trent Reznor for the score? Well, it’d be hard to screw that up, and if the movie is half as exciting as the trailer, then start counting the days until December.

Not sure how long this trailer will be available, since it’s clearly not “official”.  The film is released in December.
